We had our sailing club’s spring racer meeting at The Social last night. I reserved their side porch for the event like we did 2 years ago for the same meeting. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when making the reservation, and they sent me reminders of the reservation to set my mind at ease that they would be ready for us. The room was nicely set up when we arrived and the staff was ready and eager to help with any problems we encountered as we set up our equipment for a presentation. Food and drink service was excellent. My chicken Caesar wrap with sweet potato fries was very good and reasonably priced. Everyone else’s plates looked very appetizing and everyone was very pleased with their order, so I’m sure I’ll visit The Social again when I have the chance. (I live in Western Maryland, so not usually in the area unless working on my sailboat.) Thank you folks at The Social for making this a very enjoyable event. I highly recommend this restaurant to any group looking for a great atmosphere, great service, and great food at reasonable prices.

Service and food were amazing. Steaks were phenomenal, ceviche and oysters were to die for!! Add this to your regular rotation in Severna Park. I really don’t know why you’re eating anywhere else.

I wanted to say thank you to The Social for hosting our Wedding Reception of about 28 people. The patio was a great space, with open windows and string lights. They already had tables set up but the time we arrived, and they brought out each course one at a time, starting with a salad. It was buffet style, which was perfect for guests to customize how much they wanted. We brought our own cakes in, and they were very accommodating and put the cakes in the fridge for us, and brought them out at the end. The staff that worked that night were all very friendly, efficient, and willing to serve. The chicken and salmon entrees were delicious and we received many compliments from guests. The staff boxed up the leftover chicken so we didn’t leave empty handed! The drinks from the bar were delicious and well priced. Thank you for making our night even more special!

Second time returning to our new favorite restaurant in Severna Park. I Had a lovely meal with family last week. Food and cocktails were great. Our server Sabrina was very attentive and was quick to attend to empty plates and get refills which always seems like challenge for most servers. She recommended the Rockfish Imperial which my husband said was excellent and the Stuffed Chicken I was lucky enough to enjoy for lunch the next day as the portion was huge. My MIL is very picky and Sabrina said she wouldn’t be disappointed choosing the cream of crab and Lobster Ravioli and the MIL was very pleased. We all enjoyed the appetizers she recommended Oysters Rockefeller, Brussels Sprouts, Fried Green Tomatoes and Buffalo Caprese. We will definitely be returning.

What a great surprise this place is! I'm kind of a Gulf Coast seafood snob, so when I see "Gulf Shrimp" on a menu north of I-10 I generally prepare to be disappointed. They nailed it at The Social! We had the Risotto Pescadore which was incredible. We also had the Lobster Papardelle and I highly recommend the Seasonal Sangria. Besides the main dining area and the outdoor dining, the three little booths tucked back by the kitchen were a great touch...sort of felt like being in the artist's studio. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms, fully handicap accessible. Not a cheap meal, but I've spent a lot more and got a lot less in the past...it's worth the time and money spent!

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4.5/5) Stopped into The Social in Severna Park on a Friday night after Park Tavern was completely packed—and honestly, this turned out to be a great pivot. I was hoping to catch the Capitals game, but it was only available on ESPN+. Even though the TVs couldn’t stream it, the manager genuinely tried to make it happen and even offered to pull it up on a tablet. That level of effort doesn’t go unnoticed. The food was a big win. We started with the Crabby Tots, and the crab was legit jumbo lump—no filler nonsense. For dinner, I had the chicken Caesar wrap, and we also ordered the steak and salad. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The surprise highlight? Complimentary bread and dip to start—simple, but a really nice touch. Drink-wise, the selection is impressive. The whiskey lineup is seriously drool-worthy, but I ended up going with a beer this time. Still, it’s a spot bourbon lovers will appreciate. The vibe was lively—borderline loud—but that’s part of the experience. From what I could tell, it was a very social scene (especially if you’re a single guy on a Friday night… let’s just say the ratio was in your favor). Prices on main dishes run a bit higher than average, but the quality, atmosphere, and service make it worth it. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend The Social. Great food, excellent beer selection, strong drink options, and a team that actually cares about your experience.

Never been here before and was pleasantly surprised! The drinks were great and the food portions were perfect. Would love to come back and take advantage of the patio area since that seems pretty chill! Had some tvs for sports, got to enjoy some Olympics while catching up with my aunt. Definitely will be back for the espresso martini cause I already want another one!

The menu, although on the pricey side, does offer several elevated options, including things like Lobster Ravioli, Short Rib, and multiple cuts of steak. It has a sports bar vibe, so maybe it felt weird paying $40-$50 for entrées in this atmosphere. The food was tasty though, no complaints at all. You could go less expensive with some of the handheld options, like burgers and sandwiches. The only real disappointment was the steak and cheese egg roll, which came with two dipping sauces, neither of which really brought anything better to the experience. The service was good. We were greeted quickly and our drinks were refilled without asking. It's in a shopping center with a Harris Teeter, so plenty of parking.

We had an incredible Sunday brunch at The Social. The atmosphere is truly top-notch...an elegant dining hall with a gorgeous open kitchen concept and plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather’s nice. It’s the kind of place that feels modern yet welcoming, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. Service was a perfect 5/5. Our server, Thea, went above and beyond, anticipating everything we needed without us ever having to ask. She really made the experience memorable. Thanks Thea! The food was excellent overall (solid 4/5). We ordered two appetizers, two entrées, and a kid’s meal, along with two cocktails, one mocktail, and two juices. The flavors were fresh and well-prepared, and the portions were generous. For a group of four, the full bill came to about $100, which felt like great value for the quality and setting. If you’re looking for a spot in Severna Park that delivers on atmosphere, attentive service, and a menu that makes brunch feel special, The Social should be at the top of your list. We’ll definitely be back. #SevernaParkEats #BrunchGoals #TheSocialMD #FoodieFavorites #AnKSeeTheWorld

My wife and I shared our anniversary dinner here. Had apps, drinks, mains, and dessert. Very good! Presentation of our food was on point! The taste and price were great. We had Sydney as our server and she was an absolute joy. Loved the Caprese salad, new Zealand lamb, and the bomba ice cream! Will definitely be coming here again.
